Following recent protests we believe we have come to a stage in our campaign that we now step back and allow drivers decide to follow / join the lead given by Irish taxi council (ITC) or which ever union they believe represents them best. We started out to highlight several issues and believe they are now firmly on the table for discussion and implementation. We believe our submission CHANGE FOR THE BETTER has been adopted by others and is a major part of future progress for the industry. We would like to thank our supporters and their families. We understand there are still challenges ahead and if required we will assist where ever possible, but as you know all of our committee are volunteers who have participated proudly at there own cost. Unfortunately we cannot sustain this and the time required. Money collected for clamping fund can be claimed from our treasurer before Oct 31 money not claimed will be donated to temple street hospital and a receipt will be posted on our web site which will remain open for information. We hope our supporters feel we have served them as best we could. We would like to point out there are many talented, articulate and intelligent people driving taxis that could and should be used to represent drivers.
